Street Photography Genova | Fujifilm X-T3 + 18-55mm f2.8

On a recent holiday to Genova, Italy - I had the change to photograph around the city for a day, mostly avoiding old-town due to the ‘Genova Design Week’ signage being quite the eyesore.

“Bonjourno!” - An elderly gentleman on the streets of old-town, Genova, Italy.

Genova is a diverse city, full of character, with a rich history. Just two hours via train from Milan, I can definitely recommend a visit! Great for street photography if you can avoid the tourists (and in my case, the excessive adverts of Design Week), and like all things Italy, great food and culture if you know where to look.

Only mistake I made was not photographing more, in Genova. I could certainly see myself back there to photograph more of the city outskirts, and dive deeper into the local culture, exploring the impact Genova’s history has/had on its local residents.

Never-the-less, I did film a point of view street photography walk for my YouTube Channel, which I split into two parts. Enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed that first part and would consider sharing the video and/or subscribing to my YouTube Channel. And hey! Find part two, right here.

These images and more from Italy, are over on my Instagram. Check it out!
